SEO Auto Linker

SEO Auto linker allows forum owners to dynamically add links to words of your choice in any users posts, with options for nofollow, redirect/tracking and post rebuilding for linking in older posts.

This addon is perfect for usage with our Simple Redirects Plugin to addon. Possible usages could be adding affiliate links to posts a little like a Skimlinks of your own, selling Advertising based links ( be careful ) or improving your forum and its content with a good internal linking structure.

Example usage and installation

First you will need to set the maximum number of links you want to display per page in a thread, you do that by going to ( Setup - Options - Threads, discussions and conversations ) and use the setting at the bottom shown in this screen shot.



Once you've set your max link rule, you can now head over to the setup tab again, where you will find a link for "auto linker" - Rules



After you've added your links like above, your chosen links will then display on all new posts from that point.

IMPORTANT INFO

If you would like those keywords to also display on older posts, you will need to rebuild the post contents, PLEASE make a backup of your database before attempting this for the first time.

This addon is still in beta and has not been extensively tested on large forums.
